Conformance status

This accessibility statement applies to print-coffee.com. We are working to make the shop accessible in line with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

Current status: largely conformant (as of July 8, 2026).

Already implemented

• Skip link to main content, meaningful heading structure, and landmarks in the main navigation.
• Checkout, login, and registration with proper form labels, error states (aria-invalid, aria-describedby), and status messages.
• Cart and cart drawer with labelled inputs (e.g. coupon code, quantity fields).
• Home configurator with keyboard operation for choice groups (arrow keys), step announcements, and live status for donut selection.
• Contrast improvements for key UI elements and bilingual texts (German/English) in central shop areas.
• Customer account: profile and address forms with programmatically associated labels.

Remaining limitations

We continue to improve the following areas:

• The home configurator is extensive; focus management and status announcements are still being refined in very long flows.
• Some complex dialogs (e.g. extras in the configurator) are continuously reviewed for keyboard use and focus trapping.
• The logged-in account area is being tested and improved in real usage scenarios.
